Hundreds refugee applicants might be placed in military barracks as the administration seeks to phase out the use of hotels.

Discussions are in progress regarding the conversion of two facilities - a facility in Scotland and the other in the south of England - for shelter for 900 men.

The Prime Minister has directed Home Office and Military Ministry authorities to accelerate initiatives to find suitable armed forces locations.

The administration has vowed to eliminate the operation of refugee hotels, which have cost billions of pounds and turned into a primary concern for anti-migrant protests.

Planned Military Locations

Migrants could be placed in the Inverness barracks in Highland region and Crowborough army training camp in East Sussex by the conclusion of the coming month.

Commercial facilities, temporary accommodation and otherwise disused accommodation are also being reviewed for potential use.

Government Statements

Authoritative figures stated that each location would adhere to wellbeing requirements.

"We are deeply troubled at the scale of illegal migrants and temporary hotel accommodations."

"Our administration will close all refugee hotels. Efforts are well underway, with additional appropriate locations being brought forward to ease pressure on resident populations and decrease migrant housing expenditures."

Existing Accommodation Statistics

Nearly 32,000 asylum seekers are at this time being housed in hotels, representing a drop from a high point of over 56,000 in last year.

A newly released analysis found that billions of public funds had been "squandered" on refugee housing.

Prior Defense Site Operation

Two ex-armed forces locations - former RAF base in southeastern England and the Napier facility in the southern county - are currently being operated to house asylum seekers after being commissioned under the former government.

The government leader remarked on the circumstances, indicating: "I am committed to shut down all asylum hotels. I can't tell you how troubled and alarmed the administration feels that we face a mess as significant as this by the previous administration."
